Zoud is a technology platform designed to help users improve financial awareness and financial wellbeing through our website www.zoud.ae (the "Website") and our mobile application (the "App"). The Website and App together are the "Platform".
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform and any products, features, tools, content, and services made available through the Platform (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Platform and Services.

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to log in using UAE PASS. Authentication and credential management are handled by UAE PASS.
To improve user experience and to operate the Platform, Zoud may retrieve certain personal details via UAE PASS and/or ICP (where permitted). You acknowledge and agree that Zoud stores personal information required to provide the Services, which may include (where applicable) your name, Emirates ID, phone number, email address, nationality, and other profile details made available through UAE PASS/ICP, as described in the Privacy Policy.
By logging in using UAE PASS and proceeding with onboarding or use of the Platform, you expressly authorize Zoud to request and retrieve your credit score and/or credit report from Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) where such retrieval forms part of onboarding, personalization, or platform functionality.
We will process and use this information only in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and applicable UAE laws.
You represent and warrant that all information you provide (or confirm) is true, accurate, and up to date, and you will update it when necessary.
If you are eighteen (18) years or older, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding agreements. Users under 18 may access the Platform only with parent or legal guardian consent and may be subject to feature limitations.
We may change, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or Services at any time. We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available or uninterrupted.
The Platform may include links to External Sites (e.g., social media pages). We do not control External Sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your Account and pursue any remedies available under applicable law.
If you choose to link your bank account(s) and/or card account(s), you authorize Zoud to access relevant account and transaction information to provide features such as:
To provide bank linking and transaction updates, Zoud works with third-party providers, including Lean Technologies and Lune Technologies, to access and enrich your authorized account information. You acknowledge that:
Your linking of any account is voluntary. Where available, you can withdraw access by disconnecting your account within the Platform. Some data previously retrieved may remain stored as described in the Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law.
Zoud may use automated systems and AI (including third-party providers such as Sparkoo Technologies) to help analyze information you provide or authorize us to retrieve (such as transactions and AECB data) in order to generate insights, categorizations, and personalized content.
AI outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances.
The Platform (including chatbot content, tools, and educational materials) is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

All Content and Intellectual Property Rights in the Platform are owned by or licensed to Zoud. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Zoud grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You must not use any part of the Content for commercial purposes without obtaining written permission from Zoud.
If you submit content to the Platform ("User Content"), you grant Zoud a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and use your User Content only as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Services, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
Zoud collects, stores, and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UAE laws. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational security measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
The Services are currently provided without charge. If Zoud introduces paid features in the future, Zoud will clearly inform users and present additional terms before any paid feature is used.
The Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that:

Zoud will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from events outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, system failures, government actions, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, epidemics/pandemics, or other force majeure events.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Failure by Zoud to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms are between you and Zoud. No third party has any right to enforce any part of these Terms unless expressly stated.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The courts of Abu Dhabi shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
